First Steps
Where and How to Report Cryptocurrency Fraud
Report fraud to the platform that received or sent the funds, your local law-enforcement or consumer-protection body, and any relevant financial institution.
Use a short summary first, then attach evidence. Include wallet addresses, transaction hashes, transaction dates, values, and the channels used to communicate with the suspected scammer.
Keep a copy of every report and reference number. Those records may be needed when following up with an exchange, investigator, legal adviser, or insurer.
